Christmas Party Outfit Ideas

Christmas Party Outfit Ideas

It’s officially party season, and what better way to celebrate than with a collection of my favourite Christmas celebration outfit ideas?

From cool & casual to a very sparkly mini dress, there are loads of ways that you can dress up (or down!) for your work shindig.

Blogmas Day 6

Nothing says Christmas like a sequinned dress, and this gorgeous navy high neck velvet one from Warehouse is stunning. The thick, soft material means very little irritation from scratchy sequins, and the long sleeves perfectly balance out the shorter length. This is one instance where I think the dress should really be the main attraction, so stick to simple shoes such as these court heels from Dorothy Perkins.

A simple set of earrings from H&M paired with this delicate silver bangle from Oliver Bonas are the perfect finishing touches to this first outfit.

Blogmas Day 6

I adore cosy, soft jumpers and this cropped one from New Look is no exception. Made from faux angora and with a casual fit, this is sure to become a staple in my wardrobe!

Dress it up with a lovely pleated skirt such as this one from Warehouse, and finish the look with some strappy Hugo heels and brightly coloured earrings from H&M.

Blogmas Day 6

What’s better than a simple, smart blouse? One with a Christmas print, of course! I fell in love with this blouse from ASDA the moment I saw it, even more so when I discovered it costs a very reasonable £14 – absolute bargain.

For a more dressed down look, wear it with some black leggings such as these from H&M, and a gorgeous statement watch like this one from Olivia Burton.

To finish outfit #3 I’ve picked these amazing black velvet skate shoes from Vans. I own far too many pairs already, but I’m going to have to make space for these – who could resist?

Blogmas Day 6

Another dress, but this time in the form of this gorgeous midi skater from Miss Selfridge. Jazz this one up with some basic black tights to keep away the December chill, and embrace the biker chic vibe with these boots from H&M. Made from imitation leather and with a soft, warm lining they are idea for a casual night on the town.

Don’t forget to accessorise – a statement ring such as this one from Thomas Sabo or a personal favourite from Oliver Bonas. Feeling daring? Wear them together for maximum cool and you’re ready to rock.

Blogmas Day 6

You can’t do a Christmas party look book without a cheesy Christmas jumper, right?! I really like this 3D wreath one from Topshop paired with some classic, skinny blue jeans like these from Next for a more relaxed, casual gathering feel.

Feel like this last collection is maybe lacking a little party vibe? Snap up these amazing black glitter Oxfords from Dolls Kill and put a little sparkle in your step all night long 🌟

Hopefully this post has left you feeling inspired and ready to party – pop back again later this week for more Christmas related fun.

When I was in college I had a navy lace bodycon dress from Warehouse that I wore to death, and that sparkly number is the upgraded version! I love that you’ve pointed out that the soft material won’t scratch, I have very sensitive skin and often have to avoid sequins, but this may be the answer to my party prayers. The asda shirt is super cute too, it would be nice to layer under jumpers with the collar peeking out! xx
