February Favourites // 2017

I cannot believe that we are in March already – how did that happen?! I’ve got quite a few favourites this month – check them out after the jump!

February Favourites // 2017

Tony Moly Face Mask – I’m Real Seaweed

I’ve never been adventurous when it comes to face masks, and I’d only ever tried the Montagne Jeunesse mud and peel offs. A few weeks ago, I tried a moisture bomb mask and was super impressed at how easy the sheet mask was to use opposed to a cream one.

During a recent trip to TK Maxx, I came across a range of Tony Moly sheet masks and splurged on several of them – I absolutely love them! Out of the six that I bought I’ve used 4 and I can’t find a single fault with them yet.

Eco Tools Thermal Styler Hairbrush

For the past few years I’ve used a Head Jog 60mm hairbrush and loved it, but it has seen much better days and I needed something else to replace it. My mum pointed these out in Superdrug, and after reading great reviews I caved and bought one. I have really thick hair but this little brush handles it amazingly well! It cuts the drying time down dramatically and my hair is so straight and frizz free after using that I don’t feel the need to use straighteners.

L’oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil – Oil-in-cream

Recently, my hair has become dry and brittle and I was on the lookout for something that would help restore and replenish it. I saw the Extraordinary Oil-in-cream advertised and when I spotted it on offer it Boots I didn’t hesitate to pick it up. I use it on towel dried hair before blow drying or after styling for calm flyaways and static frizz.

It smells absolutely divine and leaves my hair feeling wonderfully sleek and silky. I’ll definitely be buying this again when it runs out!

Co Lab Dry Shampoo – Paradise

I am a loyal Batiste fan however I discovered Co Lab when looking to try a sheer dry shampoo. The scent of these is so nice, especially this tropical Paradise edition. I use a few sprays on my roots for second (and sometimes third) day hair, and because it’s invisible I never have to worry about any dreaded powdery white patches.

Nivea Daily Essentials 2 in 1 Cleanser and Toner

Forever on the lookout for products to up my skincare game, I picked up this 2 in 1 cleaner in lieu of a cleansing balm that I had originally wanted. I massage this into my face after using a foaming wash and then gently remove with a cotton pad. It removes any leftover makeup and dirt, and leaves my skin feeling super soft and hydrated. This is super gentle and perfect for use every morning and night.

LUSH Fairy Dust Dusting Powder

This cute little bottle of dusting powder came in a Christmas edition LUSH box so it isn’t available to buy in store currently, but is absolutely worth hunting down from elsewhere! I use it when I get out of the shower and it leaves me glittery and sparkling and in a fab mood. It has a classic ‘snow fairy’ scent and is a great addition for any LUSH fan.

BEE Good Honey & Camelina Facial Exfoliator

The BEE Good Honey & Camelina Facial Exfoliator was the first product from their range that I tried, and has opened up a whole world of BEE goodness! Made from milled lavender flowers and wheatgerm oil it exfoliates and soothes and leaves skin really smooth and nourished.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer

After having a concealer panic and not being able to find my colour in the Maybelline Age Rewind Eye, I grabbed this from Boots and I am so glad that I did. It provides a medium coverage and is a lovely thick formula and blends in really well. It can be built easily and doesn’t crease – hooray! The only con I can see about this so far is that the wand doesn’t quite reach the end of the tube, so I’m expecting that some of the product will be wasted – grr!

Barry M Coconut Infusion in ‘Surfboard’

Finally, a lovely nail polish from Barry M. I have far too many Barry M polishes to count, but can never resist buying a new one whenever I’m in Boots or Superdrug. ‘Surfboard’ is a beautifully delicate pastel purple (what a mouthful) shade, and the coconut infusion formula is really hydrating. Two coats is enough to cover my nails, and when paired with a good top coat it can easily last for over a week.

I hope you’ve enjoyed perusing my favourites from the past month, and found something that you fancy trying! Do you really love any of these products too? Let me know!

Until next time 💖
